The proper path for urine excretion is outlined in Option A. Urine is created by the kidney filtering blood. This urine drains into the ureter from the kidney and is intended to be expelled from the body. Each kidney empties into a single ureter, a long, muscular tube that empties into the bladder, an organ that resembles a sac and holds urine. The urethra is a thin tube that is used to expel urine after a specific volume has been collected. The remaining choices all refer to confused or improper urine excretion pathways.
